Bangladesh High Commissioner Meets DPM Ishaq Dar to Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD — The High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday to discuss avenues for bolstering bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

According to the Foreign Office, the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to enhancing ties.

Focus on Expanding Bilateral Cooperation

According to a statement from the Foreign Office, both sides agreed on the need to:

* Boost bilateral trade and investment
* Promote tourism and cultural cooperation
* Enhance people-to-people connections

The Bangladesh envoy welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister’s remarks and expressed Bangladesh’s desire to further deepen cooperation across diverse fields.
