Bangladesh Stuns Pakistan in SAFF U-17 Semifinal

In a dramatic showdown at the SAFF U-17 Football Championship in Bhutan, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in the semifinals, securing a spot in the finals.

Pakistan took an early lead with a goal from Shahab Ahmed in the 32nd minute, ending the first half with a 1-0 advantage. The Green Shirts continued their momentum into the second half, where Abdul Rahman scored from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute, extending their lead to 2-0.

However, Bangladesh rallied back, leveling the score at 2-2 before the final whistle. The match then proceeded to a tense penalty shootout, where Bangladesh edged out Pakistan 8-7.

With this victory, Bangladesh will advance to the finals, where they will face India on Sunday, September 30.
