Belarusian Delegation Arrives in Islamabad, President Lukashenko Expected Today

A ministerial delegation from Belarus, led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday ahead of President Alexander Lukashenko’s official visit.

According to the Foreign Office, the delegation was warmly received by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Additional Foreign Secretary Shafqat Ali Khan. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan, was also present at the airport to welcome the visitors.

The Belarusian team includes eight ministers, 43 business representatives, and other officials, making up a 68-member delegation.

During his visit, President Lukashenko is expected to hold detailed discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors.

Several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will also be signed, aiming to strengthen ties and foster collaboration between the two countries in diverse fields.
