India and Pakistan had declared an immediate ceasefire after a fierce military clash, but reports of fresh blasts in Indian-administered occupied Kashmir emerged within hours, raising concerns about the stability of the agreement.

Witnesses and local officials confirmed that explosions occurred late on Saturday in Srinagar and Jammu. Shells and flames could be seen in the sky, during which intermittent firing from both sides began and continued late into the night.

Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri accused Pakistan of violating the terms of the ceasefire and urged Islamabad to respond responsibly and take concrete steps to prevent further violations.

Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, on the other hand, denied any violation. Speaking to the media, he confirmed that there had been no violation of the agreement by Pakistan.
