Pakistan is set to host the Blind T20 World Cup, starting from November 22, marking a significant event for blind cricket on the international stage. However, the participation of the Indian team remains uncertain as the Indian Ministry of Sports has not yet issued the No Objection Certificate (NOC) required for the team to travel to Pakistan.
The Chairman of the Blind Cricket Association of India expressed optimism, stating, “We hope the Indian government will grant the NOC. Representing the country in Pakistan is a wonderful opportunity for all our players.” Despite the uncertainty, the Indian Blind Cricket Association has announced a preliminary squad for the upcoming tournament, demonstrating their readiness and enthusiasm to participate.
The event is anticipated to bring together teams from multiple countries, highlighting the spirit of inclusivity and sportsmanship, with Pakistan eager to welcome players from across the world for a successful and competitive tournament.
