China-Pakistan Cooperation Strengthens Developing Nations’ Interests

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, reaffirmed the commitment of China and Pakistan to safeguarding the interests of developing nations. Speaking at a seminar titled “China’s Spring: China’s Opportunities, Shared by the World,” he highlighted the strategic partnership between the two countries in promoting economic globalization and a multi-polar world.
China’s economic growth has remained strong, with a 5% GDP increase, per capita income exceeding $13,000, and a 30% contribution to global economic expansion. The ambassador also emphasized China’s focus on technological and space cooperation with Pakistan, including the launch of Pakistan’s first lunar satellite iCube-Qamar and a new agreement for astronaut selection and training.
Additionally, the China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital has provided medical care to over 150,000 patients and supported more than 1,200 births in just six months. The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has also played a significant role, creating over 421,000 jobs and strengthening global trade.
Ambassador Jiang highlighted President Xi Jinping’s diplomatic leadership, emphasizing China’s growing role in addressing global challenges and fostering international partnerships. With ongoing projects under CPEC, China and Pakistan continue to build a strong foundation for economic and regional development.
