China-Pakistan Educational Ties Strengthened Through Vocational Training Initiative

The Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College in China, in partnership with Pakistan’s Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC), has successfully conducted short-term vocational training for over 400 participants. The sessions, held from December 16 to 20, aimed to equip Pakistani youth with practical skills and enhance their cross-cultural communication capabilities.

This initiative is part of the broader China-Pakistan dual-degree vocational education program hosted by the China-Pakistan Resource and Environmental International College.

Since its establishment in 2023, the China-Pakistan International College has enrolled 41 international students in specialized programs like geological surveys, mineral exploration, and engineering surveying. This training marks the second phase of the college’s online vocational program, bringing the total number of trained participants to nearly 800.

Using an international cloud education platform, the program blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare participants for roles in international enterprises.

The initiative exemplifies the growing cooperation between China and Pakistan in vocational education and talent development. By fostering skills in high-demand fields, the program contributes to the career growth of Pakistani youth while strengthening Sino-Pakistani educational ties.
