CM Maryam Nawaz Meets Argentine Ambassador to Discuss Collaboration

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with Mr. Sebastian Sayus, the Argentine Ambassador to Pakistan, to launch a pilot project for silos in Okara. During the meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation in livestock, agriculture, information technology, and other industrial sectors.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Argentina are progressing positively. She stated that measures will be taken to increase business-to-business interactions between the two countries. She expressed interest in utilizing Argentina’s meat processing technology and stressed the need to further promote trade in livestock, sports equipment, and surgical instruments.

Maryam Nawaz assured the ambassador that the government is committed to providing security and all necessary facilities to foreign investors in Pakistan. She highlighted the vast investment opportunities available in various sectors within Punjab.

The Argentine ambassador responded positively, stating that there will be further collaboration in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, information technology, and industrial sectors. He expressed a desire to work with Punjab in the fields of livestock and biotechnology and pledged to improve government-to-government and business-to-business coordination to promote trade. Additionally, he mentioned that technical assistance will be provided to Punjab in the area of food security.
