Consul General Meets Bohra Business Community Delegation to Strengthen Trade Ties

A delegation of the Bohra business community from the United Arab Emirates met with Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General of Pakistan, at the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai on Thursday.

Accompanying the Consul General was Ali Zeb Khan, the Trade and Investment Counsellor. The meeting focused on strengthening the trade relations between Pakistan and the UAE, with particular emphasis on boosting imports from Pakistan.

Key sectors discussed included textiles, fresh fruits and vegetables, gemstones, and other commodities. The Bohra delegation expressed their keen interest in exploring new avenues for enhancing bilateral trade and expanding investment opportunities.

Hussain Muhammad welcomed the delegation’s proposals, reiterating the consulate’s commitment to facilitating business initiatives and promoting economic cooperation. He assured the delegation of the consulate’s full support in simplifying trade processes.

The visiting business leaders expressed appreciation for the consulate’s efforts and support, indicating their confidence in the potential to further expand trade collaborations between Pakistan and the UAE.
