DFP Mourns the Passing of Veteran Leader Ghulam Mohammad Naiko

 

The Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran pro-freedom leader Ghulam Mohammad Naiko, who died on Saturday in Srinagar after a brief illness.

In an official statement released today, DFP spokesperson Advocate Arshad Iqbal extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the party leadership to the bereaved Naiko family, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul.

The DFP hailed Naiko’s lifelong dedication to the political and ideological struggle for Kashmir, highlighting his association with key pro-freedom groups such as Al-Fatah, People’s League, and the Muslim Conference.

The spokesperson described the late Naiko as a multifaceted and principled leader, whose unwavering commitment to the cause made him a respected figure within the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.

“He was a symbol of resistance and integrity who remained steadfast in his mission despite facing numerous hardships,” the statement noted.

Naiko’s contributions to the region’s political discourse were acknowledged across various sections of society, with many paying tribute to his courage, clarity of vision, and moral leadership.
