Election Commission Meeting on Reserved Seats Ends Without Decision

The Election Commission of Pakistan’s meeting to address the issue of reserved seats once again concluded without reaching a final decision.

The session was chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and attended by ECP members, officials, and the legal team. Sources indicated that the ECP decided to continue seeking advice from legal experts. The focus of the discussion was on how to implement the Supreme Court’s ruling regarding the reserved seats.

Despite ongoing consultations, no definitive conclusion has been made. Previous meetings on the same issue have also ended without a final decision.
