European Union Decries Israeli Assault in Beit Lahiya, Gaza

The European Union has condemned the Israeli military’s recent offensive in Beit Lahiya, Gaza, describing the destruction as “horrifying.”

Josep Borrell, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs, issued a statement highlighting the shocking nature of the images emerging from the region. He reported that the latest attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 100 civilians.

Borrell emphasized that the ongoing conflict shows a blatant disregard for the principles of civilian protection and proportionality in warfare. He reiterated that the EU will continue to call for accountability for these actions.
