
FIA Raids Fake Visa Factory in Gujranwala, Arrests Two Suspects

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has uncovered a major operation involving the production of fake visas and travel documents, leading to the arrest of two suspects in Gujranwala. The operation was carried out by FIA’s Gujranwala Zone in Shadman Colony on Saturday, following a tip-off regarding a human smuggling racket.
FIA officials identified the arrested individuals as Zia-ur-Rehman and Ijaz Ahmed. The suspects were allegedly providing counterfeit passports, visa stickers, and other travel documents to people seeking illegal travel opportunities. These documents were reportedly sold to unsuspecting citizens, deceiving them into paying large sums of money for fake papers.
During the raid, FIA authorities seized 20 Pakistani and 31 foreign passports. A large number of counterfeit visa stickers, including those for the UK, the US, China, Europe, and several other countries and Machinery used in the production of fake visa stickers
The fake visa stickers recovered covered numerous countries, including Brazil, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, and the UAE, among others.
The arrested suspects are part of a global human smuggling network. The FIA confirmed that the two men were involved in trafficking people through fraudulent documentation, allowing them to cross borders illegally.
The agency has vowed to continue its investigation into this international network, with efforts focused on identifying other members and dismantling the operation. The FIA’s crackdown aims to prevent further exploitation of citizens by criminal groups involved in illegal travel.
