Global Procurement Forum in Beijing Highlights Business Expansion and International Cooperation

The Global Procurement and Enterprise Overseas Expansion Forum, held in Beijing, addressed critical global issues such as international public procurement, business expansion, and talent development. The event, attended by diplomats, ministers, and commercial counselors from 12 countries, explored opportunities for collaboration and solutions to key challenges, *China Economic Net* reported.

Nigerian Ambassador Babagana Wakil emphasized the strong ties between China and Africa, citing Nigeria’s vast development potential and calling for greater collaboration through the China Association for Promoting UN Procurement. Zimbabwe’s Economic Counselor, Grasiano Nyaguse, also encouraged Chinese investment, especially in mining, manufacturing, and agriculture.

Elsie Maseke, Namibia’s Charge d’Affaires, invited Chinese companies to invest in the country’s renewable energy sector, particularly solar power. Nepalese Counselor Sabita Nakarmi highlighted the progress in trade relations between Nepal and China. Grenada’s First Secretary, Tricia Bethel, and Bolivian Ambassador Hugo Siles both urged Chinese firms to explore opportunities in tourism, agriculture, and renewable energy.

The forum also introduced the “Enterprise Overseas Expansion Plan,” offering comprehensive services to help businesses enter global markets and participate in international cooperation.
