Global Reactions Pour in After Donald Trump Secures Historic Victory for Second Term

World leaders have quickly reacted to Donald Trump’s stunning victory in the U.S. presidential election, with some offering congratulations while others cautiously await the new direction in international relations.

**Pakistan’s Warm Congratulations**
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif joined in congratulating Trump, praising his historic victory and expressing eagerness to work closely with his administration. Sharif highlighted the desire to further strengthen the Pakistan-U.S. partnership during Trump’s second term.

**China Calls for ‘Peaceful Coexistence’**
In China, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning expressed hopes for a future of “peaceful coexistence” with the United States, emphasizing mutual respect and win-win cooperation as the guiding principles for Sino-US relations. China refrained from directly mentioning Trump but affirmed respect for the American people’s choice.

**Russia’s Reserved Response**
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented that Russia had no plans to congratulate Trump just yet, as the country viewed the U.S. as “unfriendly.” Russia’s approach to the new U.S. administration would depend on “concrete steps and concrete words,” Peskov noted.
