Government Hajj Scheme: Applications Open from Today until December 3

Government Hajj Scheme Applications for the 2025 will be accepted starting today 18 November (Monday), and will continue until December 3, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced.

The draw for the Hajj applications is set for December 6. According to a spokesperson for the ministry, applicants participating in the regular scheme for the first time will be given priority in the lottery system.

A total of 5,000 seats have been reserved for the Sponsorship Scheme, under which overseas Pakistanis can send $4,225 to designated banks on a first-come, first-served basis to sponsor themselves or their loved ones.

The Hajj packages are divided into two options: a long package lasting 38 to 42 days and a short package spanning 20 to 25 days.

The ministry aims to facilitate up to 200,000 Pakistani pilgrims in performing the Hajj under agreements made for the upcoming pilgrimage.
