The spokesperson for Hamas’ military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, has confirmed that the brigade’s Commander-in-Chief, Mohammed Deif, was martyred during the ongoing war in Gaza, along with several senior commanders.

According to a report by the Palestinian news agency Maan, Abu Ubaida announced that Deputy Commander Marwan Issa (Abu Al-Baraa), Commander of Weapons and Military Services Ghazi Abu Ta’ma (Abu Musa), Manpower Commander Raed Thabet, Khan Younis Division Commander Rafi Salama (Abu Mohammed), Northern Division Commander Ahmed Al-Ghandour (Abu Anas), and Central Division Commander Ayman Noufal (Abu Ahmed) were also martyred in the conflict.

The loss of these top leaders marks a significant setback for Hamas during the ongoing war in Gaza. However, the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that their sacrifices would only strengthen Palestinian resistance and determination.
