Hamas declare America a “direct partner” in the assault on Gaza.

Hamas has accused the United States of being directly responsible for the ongoing violence and loss of life in the region. The Palestinian group condemned Washington’s action, which blocked the draft resolution backed by 14 of the 15 Security Council members.

In a statement, Hamas declared that the U.S. is complicit in Israel’s military actions, labeling America a “direct partner” in the assault on Gaza. The group accused the U.S. of enabling Israel’s “genocidal war” and called the veto a “criminal act” that allows the continuation of deadly strikes on Gaza’s civilian population.

Hamas added that the U.S. is to blame for the deaths of children and women in Gaza, further criticizing the U.S. for its failure to intervene and stop what it called the destruction of Palestinian lives.

Meanwhile, Palestinian authorities expressed their disillusionment with the UN Security Council’s inability to pass the resolution, despite widespread international support. They criticized the U.S. for its role in blocking the ceasefire and underscored the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza as Israel’s airstrikes continue unabated.
