Hezbollah has launched drone attacks on the Israeli city of Haifa, resulting in the deaths of four Israeli soldiers and injuring 67 others. According to Israeli media reports, explosions occurred in the northern region of Israel, specifically in the Ben Yamin area, leading to a significant number of casualties.
Rescue operations commenced promptly at the blast site, with ambulances and helicopters deployed to transport the injured to various hospitals. Among the injured, five individuals are reported to be in critical condition, prompting hospitals to declare a state of emergency.
Hezbollah has confirmed its responsibility for the drone strikes, stating that they targeted a military training base south of Haifa. Additionally, the group claimed to have carried out missile attacks on Israeli military positions in the occupied Golan Heights.
The escalation of hostilities raises concerns about regional security, as both Israeli and Hezbollah forces remain on high alert following these attacks.
