Lebanese organization Hezbollah has issued a warning to Israel, stating that if Israel’s operations in Lebanon persist, it will carry out further attacks. According to the French news agency AFP, Hezbollah’s statement came after a drone attack on a military base in the Israeli city of Haifa, which resulted in the deaths of four soldiers on Sunday.
The Israeli military confirmed the casualties, marking this attack as the most devastating on an Israeli military base since September 23. This escalation follows an increase in Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon.
In its statement, Hezbollah declared, “We promise the enemy that if Israel decides to continue its aggression against our people, what it witnessed today in southern Haifa is nothing compared to what awaits it ahead.”
The Iran-backed group revealed that it launched dozens of missiles toward Nahariya and Acre, north of Haifa, to “keep the Israeli defense systems occupied.” The statement also detailed that several drone squadrons, some used for the first time, were launched toward various areas in Acre and Haifa, successfully bypassing Israeli air defense radars and targeting the Binyamina training camp south of Haifa.
The statement further claimed, “These drones exploded in rooms where dozens of Israeli officers and soldiers were present.”
