Imran Khan’s Focal Person Abducted, Case Registered

Islamabad police have registered a case regarding the abduction of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s focal person, Intizar Panjutha. The Kohsar police station registered the case, following the disappearance of Intizar Hussain, who has been missing since October 8.

Filed on behalf of the state, the FIR mentions that efforts to contact Intizar Hussain have failed, leading to the suspicion of abduction. The matter was also brought to the Islamabad High Court, where a petition was filed concerning his disappearance.

The Islamabad High Court has since demanded a detailed report from the Ministry of Defence regarding Panjutha’s whereabouts and the ongoing investigation into the case.
