Inaugural Superior National Fastest Men and Women Competition Scheduled for October 8 in Lahore

The 1st Superior National Fastest Men and Women Competition is set to take place on October 8 at Punjab Stadium in Lahore. Organized by the Athletics Federation of Pakistan, the event will feature athletes from all over the country, as announced by Brig. Wajahat Hussain (R), President of the federation.

Invitations have been extended to affiliated units, including various departments and provincial and regional associations.

Participants will compete for attractive cash prizes, with the top athlete receiving Rs 100,000, followed by Rs 50,000 for second place and Rs 25,000 for third. Those finishing from 4th to 8th place will each take home Rs 10,000.

Aspiring athletes interested in participating must register by October 5. On the day of the event, all competitors are required to report to Punjab Stadium at 9 AM for registration and document verification. This process will be supervised by Rafique Ahmad, President of the National Coaching Association, along with Ch. Asghar Ali Gill, Head Coach of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan.

The competition is being held under the auspices of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan in partnership with Superior University, Lahore, promising to be a significant event for speed enthusiasts.
