
Inauguration of “Munzar” art exhibition celebrating Pakistan’s cultural heritage

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, jointly inaugurated the *“MANZAR”* exhibition in Doha, marking the start of a three-month celebration of Pakistani art and heritage. Hosted by the National Museum of Qatar in collaboration with the upcoming Art Mill Museum, *MANZAR* brings to life Pakistan’s rich cultural journey through over 200 iconic artworks, including contributions from renowned Pakistani artists and architects.
In his address, PM Shehbaz thanked the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for the opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s creative legacy on an international platform. “*MANZAR* will serve as a cultural bridge,” he remarked, “fostering stronger bonds and mutual understanding.”
The exhibition not only features visual masterpieces but also offers an immersive experience of Pakistani culture, with traditional music, cuisine, and performances. CEO of Qatar Museums, Mohammad Saad Rumaihi, praised the joint endeavor, calling it a testament to the strong friendship between Qatar and Pakistan.
Institutions from both nations, including Pakistan’s National Heritage & Culture Division, Alhamra Art Museum, and private collectors, contributed to the realization of *MANZAR*, aiming to create a profound cultural exchange that will resonate with global audiences.
