India Beats Pakistan 2-1 in Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Clash

In a thrilling match of the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament, India secured a 2-1 victory over Pakistan. Both teams had already booked their spots in the semi-finals before this highly anticipated clash, held in Hulunbuir, China.

Pakistan took an early lead when Ahmad Nadeem found the back of the net in the 8th minute. However, India responded swiftly, with captain Harmanpreet Singh equalizing through a penalty corner in the 13th minute. The teams went into halftime with the score tied at 1-1.

In the 19th minute, Harmanpreet Singh struck again, giving India the decisive lead. Despite Pakistan’s efforts, they couldn’t find an equalizer, and India held on for the win.

India remains undefeated in the tournament, while Pakistan suffered its first loss. Earlier, Pakistan had beaten China 5-1 and Japan 2-1, and played to 2-2 draws against South Korea and Malaysia.

This match continues the fierce rivalry between the two teams, with India coming out on top this time.
