The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that the Indian cricket team will not travel to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. Instead, India prefers to play its matches at a neutral venue in Dubai.
Reports indicate that apart from India, six other participating nations have confirmed their teams’ participation in the tournament in Pakistan. However, citing political and security concerns, India has refused to send its team and has pushed for the tournament to be conducted under a hybrid model.
The Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 9, with matches set to be played in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
