India Fails to Present Evidence for False Allegations Against Pakistan: DG ISPR

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Tuesday firmly rejected India’s baseless allegations, stating that New Delhi has failed to provide a single piece of credible evidence linking Pakistan.

India’s Accusations Deemed Propaganda

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif said seven days had passed since the Pahalgam attack, yet India had not shared any proof to support its claims. Instead, India resorted to false propaganda to deflect attention from its own internal challenges and upcoming elections.

“Rather than conducting an impartial investigation, India immediately began a global misinformation campaign targeting Pakistan,” he said.

Solid Evidence of Indian-Sponsored Terrorism in Pakistan

Presenting documented evidence, the DG ISPR revealed that Indian intelligence agencies were actively sponsoring terrorist operations inside Pakistan, including the delivery of explosives, IEDs, and other lethal materials aimed at targeting security forces and civilians.

“This is not speculation. What we are presenting today is part of a broader pattern of Indian state-sponsored terrorism,” he stated.

Arrest and Recovery of Indian-Sponsored Operative

On April 25, Pakistani security forces arrested a Pakistani citizen trained and sponsored by India near the Jhelum bus stand. The suspect was found in possession of:

  • One IED
  • Two mobile phones
  • Rs70,000 in cash

Subsequent searches led to the recovery of  Rs1 million in cash and an Indian drone from the suspect’s residence. Forensic analysis of the recovered devices provided verifiable and independent evidence, according to the ISPR.

Indian Army Officer Implicated

The arrested individual confessed during interrogation that his handler was Subedar Sukvinder, a junior commissioned officer in the Indian Army. He had directed the terrorist to retrieve the IED from a specified location, as per instructions communicated via encrypted messaging.

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif emphasized that the evidence is open to scrutiny by any independent, neutral agency, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to transparency and truth in counterterrorism.
