India-Pakistan Tensions Escalate: Pakistan 12 Spy Drones Shot Down, 1 Civilian Killed، 5 injure
Pakistan’s defense forces brought down 12 Indian drones have been shot down near Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Chhor and Karachi. Four Pakistan Army soldiers were injured in a drone attack near Lahore, while a civilian was martyred in Mianwali, Sindh. The wreckage of the destroyed Indian drones is located in the relevant areas.
In Lahore, an Indian drone attempted to breach airspace near a high-security installation in Walton. The drone, reportedly over five feet in size, was remotely navigated from across the border. Quick action by Pakistan’s security personnel jammed its signals and neutralized the threat mid-air. The drone crashed near the target zone, causing minor structural damage and 4 military personnel injure. Authorities responded by raising the area’s security level to red alert.
Hours later, a drone was intercepted over Gujranwala. Wreckage was later retrieved in Jhand Peer village, Gujrat. Investigative teams secured the site and began forensic analysis to determine the drone’s operational capacity and flight path.
A drone intrusion was reported in Chakwal. The drone crashed near Dewalian village under Dhumman Police Station jurisdiction. No loss of life or injuries occurred, but security officials cordoned off the area and took control of the debris for further evaluation.
Tragedy unfolded in Sarfaraz Laghari village, Ghotki, where a drone fell directly into agricultural fields. The crash instantly martyred local farmer Mukhtiar Ahmed and seriously injured his father, Eidhan. According to Ghotki SSP Samiullah Soomro, the incident occurred near the Indian border within Khanghu Police Station limits. Senior law enforcement officers and Pakistan Army personnel are leading a high-level probe into the drone’s origin and intent.
