In a noteworthy acknowledgment, Indian commanders have praised the professional capabilities of Pakistani peacekeeping forces operating in South Sudan.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the Pakistani contingent, known for their blue helmets, is diligently working to uphold peace and security in the region. They have successfully completed intricate engineering tasks aimed at safeguarding the local civilian population amid challenging conditions.
The ISPR emphasized that the protection of civilians has consistently been a primary focus for Pakistani peacekeepers. Currently, they are actively engaged in providing support to approximately 250,000 displaced individuals affected by recent floods.
Lieutenant General S. Mohan, the Force Commander of the UN mission, expressed his appreciation for the professionalism exhibited by the Pakistani peacekeeping unit, highlighting their commitment to humanitarian efforts.
