Indian Hindu Pilgrims Arrive in Pakistan for Religious Celebrations

A group of 84 Hindu pilgrims from India crossed into Pakistan via the Wagah Border on Friday to participate in the annual birth anniversary celebrations of “Shiv Avtari Satguru Sant Swami Shadaram.”

The pilgrims were served a vegetarian meal before being transported in dedicated buses to the Shadani Darbar in Hayat Pitafi. The central celebrations, which are scheduled to take place from January 6 to January 8, will mark the spiritual significance of the revered saint’s birth. The group will complete their pilgrimage and return to India via the Wagah Border on January 15.

This visit is part of Pakistan’s broader initiative to promote religious tourism and strengthen cross-border cultural ties, ensuring that pilgrims receive all necessary facilities during their stay.
