Inter-Club National Hockey Championship to Kick Off in Bahawalpur on Jan 1

The Inter-Club National Hockey Championship is set to commence at Dring Stadium, Bahawalpur, on January 1, 2025. The tournament will run until January 4, with hockey teams from across the country competing for the title.

District Hockey Association Bahawalpur Secretary, Taimur Sameen Khan, shared details with the media, highlighting the involvement of esteemed players and officials in organizing the event. Olympians Rashid Mahmood, Umar Bhutta, Mirza Mansoor, Rana Muhammad Arshad, and Taimur Sameen Khan himself have been appointed as members of the tournament committee, tasked with ensuring smooth arrangements for the championship.

Prominent hockey figures, including Olympian Rana Mojahid Ali, President of the Punjab Hockey Association, Olympian Asif Bajwa, Secretary of the Punjab Hockey Association, and international hockey player Mian Zahid Iqbal, will oversee and supervise the event.

This championship aims to promote hockey at the grassroots level and inspire young athletes by showcasing high-level competition.
