Iran Issues Stern Warning to Regional States Over Potential U.S. Strike Support
Iran has warned six neighboring countries that any cooperation with the United States in a possible military strike against Tehran would be seen as an act of aggression, with “serious consequences,” according to a senior Iranian official quoted by international media.
The countries named include Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Turkey, and Bahrain. Tehran has allegedly informed these nations that allowing the U.S. military to use their airspace or territory for an attack will be met with a harsh response.
Following escalating tensions, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reportedly placed Iran’s military on high alert. The warning signals rising fears of a broader conflict in the region, especially as U.S.-Iran relations continue to deteriorate.
The Iranian official, speaking anonymously, emphasized that Tehran views any logistical or strategic support for a U.S. offensive as an open violation of Iran’s sovereignty. “These countries must understand the consequences of allowing foreign aggression from their soil,” the official stated.
Reports indicate that the U.S. has already deployed B-52 bombers to its base in Diego Garcia, signaling military preparedness in the event of escalated conflict.
