Iranian Ambassador Meets Defence Minister to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of Iran, met with Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday to discuss strengthening ties between the two nations. According to a press release, Khawaja Asif underscored the deep, longstanding religious and cultural connections between Pakistan and Iran, which have fostered cordial relations over the centuries.

The Defence Minister highlighted the significance of the Joint Border Commission and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhanced border management. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation and reiterated their desire to further strengthen collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
