Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Navy for their prompt action in rescuing 23 Iranian fishermen involved in a recent maritime incident.
In a statement, Ambassador Moghadam lauded the professionalism and commitment demonstrated by the Pakistan Navy, highlighting the long-standing tradition of mutual assistance between Iran and Pakistan in humanitarian operations.
He emphasized that both countries have consistently worked together in search and rescue missions in international waters, reflecting a deep-rooted spirit of cooperation and solidarity.
The ambassador recalled a similar incident in March 2024, when the Pakistan Navy aided in the rescue of eight Iranian fishermen after a fire broke out on their vessel. This ongoing collaboration is viewed as a testament to the enduring friendship between the two nations.
“The people of Iran sincerely appreciate Pakistan’s unwavering readiness to assist during crises, reinforcing the strong bonds and mutual commitment that have characterized the relationship between our countries throughout history,” he stated.
