
Iranian Consul General Stresses Muslim Unity to Address Gaza Crisis

The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Hasan Nourian has called for unity among Muslim countries to address the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah. Speaking at a seminar marking the anniversary of Iranian General Qasim Soleimani, Nourian emphasized the need for collective action to resolve pressing issues.
During his address at a local hotel, the Iranian envoy highlighted the ongoing plight of Palestinians, stating, “Over 50,000 innocent people have been martyred in Gaza due to Israel’s brutal attacks, while 100,000 have been injured.” He reaffirmed that both Iran and Pakistan have consistently stood in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
The seminar was attended by prominent religious leaders, including Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan (JUP) chief Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, Sheikh Shabir Hassan Mohsami, Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Maulana Azad Jameel, and Asadullah Bhutto.
Speakers paid tribute to martyrs, including General Soleimani, and condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza as a grave violation of human rights. They called for an immediate ceasefire and urged the international community to play a more active role in resolving the Middle East crisis.
