Iranian speaker warned, US military bases would not be safe if Iran was attacked.
Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Dr. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has issued a stern warning, stating that any military aggression against Iran by the United States or its allies will have severe consequences. He emphasized that such an attack would ignite a massive explosion across the region, putting all American military bases at risk.
Addressing a massive gathering on the occasion of International Quds Day, Ghalibaf criticized Western nations for their approach towards negotiations with Iran. He asserted that the US is attempting to impose its demands through diplomatic pressure, but the Iranian people will never succumb to such tactics.
The speaker further accused US officials of trying to undermine Iran’s economic progress and limit its defense capabilities. However, he reaffirmed that Iran trusts its leadership, people, and armed forces, and will never bow to external pressure or threats.
Sending a direct message to Israel and the US, Ghalibaf warned that if Iran’s sovereignty and security were threatened, the entire region would be engulfed in uncontrollable conflict. He stressed that Iran is always open to fair and constructive negotiations, but will never accept any deal imposed through coercion.
Highlighting the importance of national unity, he urged the Iranian people to focus on self-reliance and internal strength to overcome economic challenges. He concluded by stating that the enemy will eventually be forced to recognize Iran’s strategic position and negotiate on fair and just terms.
