In the wake of recent explosions involving pagers used by Hezbollah, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have announced a comprehensive inspection of all communication devices utilized by their personnel.
Reports indicate that the Revolutionary Guards have issued directives to all commanders and personnel, instructing them to refrain from using communication devices until they receive security clearance.
The inspection will encompass all communication equipment, including devices imported from countries such as China and Russia, as well as those manufactured locally.
This decision follows the detonation of over 3,000 pagers belonging to Hezbollah commanders and operatives in Lebanon, which has raised concerns about the safety of Revolutionary Guards personnel, prompting the need for stringent security measures.
Recent reports indicate that the pager explosions resulted in approximately 40 deaths and over 3,000 injuries among Hezbollah members.
