The Islamabad High Court reviewed a report on Friday regarding the disappearance of PTI’s focal person, Intezar Panjutha. According to the report, Panjutha is not in the custody of the ISI, as previously speculated.
To expedite his recovery, a special team led by SSP Investigation has been established, with the SSP serving as the focal person in the case. The court instructed the police focal person to remain in close communication with the petitioner’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry Advocate.
Additionally, the court directed that available CCTV footage of Panjutha be shared with the petitioner’s legal team. It was disclosed that a request has been made to the Intelligence Bureau (IB) to assist in tracing Panjutha’s location, and their findings will be presented before the next hearing.
Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a written directive summarizing the previous proceedings and adjourned the case until October 21.
