Israeli Airstrikes Devastate Lebanon: 182 Dead, Over 750 Injured

A series of indiscriminate airstrikes by Israeli forces in southern and eastern Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of at least 182 individuals, including many women and children, while more than 750 others have sustained injuries. The Lebanese Ministry of Health has confirmed these figures, noting that dozens of the injured are in critical condition.

The assault has left significant destruction in its wake, with numerous homes reported destroyed and fears of a rising death toll as rescue efforts continue.

Prior to the bombardment, Israeli forces issued text alerts to residents, advising them to steer clear of buildings allegedly used by Hezbollah. Sirens were activated before the strikes, unleashing a torrent of bombs on civilian areas. Hospitals have been put on high alert to handle the emergency influx of casualties.
