ITB Berlin 2025 Showcases Global Travel Trends and Sustainable Tourism

Visit Britain CEO Patricia Yates highlighted the growing impact of film tourism in attracting visitors. Philippine Tourism Board CEO Marga Nograles focused on sustainable tourism efforts, while Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Tourism Made Ayu Marthini underscored the role of local communities in shaping travel experiences.

JNTO representative Sayaka Usui discussed promoting disaster-affected regions in Japan, while Azerbaijan Tourism Board CEO Florian Sengstschmid introduced ‘slow food travel’, blending gastronomy with cultural tourism. Adventure tourism in Oman and long-term tourism strategies in Saudi Arabia were also key highlights.
