Karachi University Awards Honorary Degree to Renowned Scholar Dr. Zakir Naik

The University of Karachi conferred an honorary degree (honoris causa) upon the renowned Islamic scholar and speaker Dr. Zakir Naik at the Sindh Governor’s House.

The honorary degree was presented by Governor Kamran Tessori, who is also the Chancellor of the University of Karachi. The Governor stated that this honor recognizes Dr. Naik’s contributions to Islam.

This development comes as the prominent preacher is currently visiting Pakistan as a state guest, invited by the government. During his stay, which will last until October 28, Dr. Naik is scheduled to hold public gatherings in various cities across the country.
