Khuram Shahzad Appointed as Pakistan Sports Board Spokesman

ISLAMABAD — The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has designated Khuram Shahzad, currently serving as the Board’s Publication Officer, as its official spokesman with immediate effect. The announcement was made through an internal communication issued by the Director General of PSB.

With immediate effect, Shahzad will be responsible for all official communications, including media relations, public statements, and press releases. He will also represent the Board in public forums and manage overall public relations activities, subject to the approval of the competent authority.

All PSB wings and departments have been instructed to extend full cooperation to the new spokesman in the fulfillment of his responsibilities.

Shahzad is a veteran journalist and public relations expert with more than two decades of experience. He has been affiliated with the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) since 2007 and has served in media teams supporting various federal ministers. He is also known as the younger brother of the late Javed Shahzad, a distinguished senior journalist.

His appointment is expected to enhance the visibility and outreach of the Pakistan Sports Board through effective communication and engagement with the public and media stakeholders.
