Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 15 Terrorists Killed, 2 Soldiers Martyred in Security Operations

Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa conducted successful operations, eliminating 15 terrorists, while two soldiers embraced martyrdom, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a major operation in Karak district, security personnel, acting on intelligence about terrorist presence, launched a targeted offensive. The operation led to the killing of eight terrorists, while forces effectively destroyed their hideout.

Meanwhile, in a separate operation in North Waziristan, four terrorists were neutralized during a fierce exchange of fire. Sadly, Lance Naik Usman Muhammad and Sepoy Imran Khan were martyred during the intense gun battle.

Additionally, in the Gomal Zam area of South Waziristan, security forces eliminated three more terrorists. A significant cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the killed militants.

The ISPR stated that the neutralized terrorists were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities targeting security forces and civilians. Clearance and sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the region.

Security forces reaffirmed their resolve to eradicate terrorism and maintain peace across the country.
