Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has reportedly gone missing in Islamabad, with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party alleging that he was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location. The operation involved police breaking down doors and windows at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House to execute the arrest.
Under the supervision of the Inspector General of Islamabad, Gandapur was handcuffed, and a white cloth was placed over his face during his transfer. He faces charges related to an attack on the state and damage to government property.
Additionally, reports indicate that a local court issued arrest warrants for Gandapur in connection with a liquor recovery case, prompting police to deploy heavy forces at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House to carry out the operation.
