Lieutenant Colonel, 5 Soldiers Martyred in North Waziristan

North Waziristan’s Spinwam area, a fierce battle between Pakistani security forces and terrorists resulted in the martyrdom of six soldiers, including Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shaukat. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation, conducted overnight between October 4 and 5, also saw six terrorists killed in the exchange of gunfire.

Lieutenant Colonel Shaukat, who led the operation, was among the fallen, along with Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah, Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman, Lance Naik Shahid Ullah, Lance Naik Yousaf Ali, and Sepoy Jameel Ahmed.

The soldiers, hailing from different parts of the country, fought valiantly, with the ISPR reaffirming that their sacrifices will only strengthen the military’s determination to root out terrorism from the region.
