Lifetime Ban for Turkish Referee Elif Karaslan Over Alleged Sexual Clip

The Turkish Football Federation has imposed a lifetime ban on 24-year-old referee Elif Karaslan, barring her from participating in any football-related activities. This action was taken after an alleged sexual video clip surfaced, in which she appeared alongside 61-year-old match observer Erdemir.

Both individuals were immediately suspended, and their appeals were rejected. Karaslan, who had previously stopped playing football with Beşiktaş due to an injury, had officiated numerous matches in Turkey as a referee.

In the meantime, Elif Karaslan strongly denied the allegations against her, declared the video to be fake, and announced that she would be pursuing legal action in response.
