Lord Qurban Hussain Meets Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Discuss Key Bilateral and Kashmir Issues

Lord Qurban Hussain, a prominent British Pakistani leader of Kashmiri heritage, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Saturday. The discussions focused on enhancing ties between Pakistan and the UK, particularly in relation to the Pakistani diaspora and the ongoing situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement from the Deputy Prime Minister’s office, Senator Dar acknowledged Lord Hussain’s ongoing support for the Kashmiri people’s rights in the UK Parliament. Dar praised his advocacy for the self-determination of IIOJK’s residents and their right to freedom.

The meeting also addressed the development initiatives underway in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with Dar stressing the government’s dedication to economic growth and progress in the region. The leaders agreed on the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and continuing efforts for the betterment of both nations.
