Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has arrived in Islamabad for a three-day official visit. He was warmly received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Noor Khan Airbase, where a ceremonial guard of honor was presented, including a 21-gun salute.
According to an official statement, the visit is set to focus on deepening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Malaysia, particularly in areas of trade, investment, and business cooperation. High-level meetings are scheduled between the Malaysian leader and Pakistan’s key officials, including President Asif Zardari, where the two nations will discuss mutual interests and future collaboration.
A prominent Malaysian business delegation accompanying Anwar Ibrahim will participate in the Pakistan-Malaysia Business Forum, aimed at fostering economic partnerships. This visit is expected to enhance cooperation across various sectors and open new opportunities for both countries in the near future.
