Massive Protests Sweep Egypt Against Palestinian Displacement Plan

Hundreds of thousands of Egyptians took to the streets on Monday in a nationwide show of solidarity with Palestinians, following Eid prayers. The protests erupted in response to growing concerns over plans to relocate Palestinians, particularly from Gaza, sparking widespread outrage.

Demonstrators in major cities waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning Israeli actions and forced displacement. Protesters also backed a proposed Arab-led reconstruction plan for Gaza, calling for increased humanitarian assistance and immediate relief efforts for those affected by the ongoing crisis.

The demonstrations echoed the Egyptian government’s official stance on the Palestinian issue, reinforcing a united front against any forced eviction of Palestinians. Protesters demanded urgent action to accelerate aid deliveries and reaffirmed their unwavering support for Palestinian sovereignty and rights.

The protests mark one of the largest displays of pro-Palestinian sentiment in Egypt in recent years, highlighting deep-rooted public opposition to any attempts at forced resettlement.
