Israeli intelligence chief David Barnea, head of the Mossad, and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer are expected to meet with US Special Envoy for Iran, Abram Witkoff, in Paris on Friday (Today), according to diplomatic sources familiar with the matter.

The high-level discussions come just a day before indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran are scheduled to take place in Rome on Saturday, April 19. The meeting in Paris is aimed at aligning Israeli and American positions amid escalating regional tensions and concerns over Iran’s nuclear program.

Officials say the Paris meeting will focus on Iran’s recent military activities, its nuclear advancements, and the potential implications of renewed US-Iran dialogue. Israel has expressed strong opposition to any agreement that does not completely dismantle Iran’s ability to enrich uranium.

The meeting also highlights growing coordination between Washington and Tel Aviv, as the Trump administration seeks to balance diplomacy with deterrence in the Middle East.
