MWL Condemns Israeli Strike Near Syrian Presidential Palace
The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a firm condemnation of the Israeli airstrike carried out near the Syrian presidential palace in Damascus, labeling the attack a dangerous breach of international laws and humanitarian norms.
According to a statement released by the MWL’s General Secretariat, the organization described the assault as a “barbaric and unjustified act” that escalates instability across Syria and the wider region. The MWL emphasized that such aggressive actions undermine efforts to maintain peace and security in the Middle East.
The MWL expressed solidarity with the Syrian people in confronting all external threats that endanger the nation’s stability.
Calling on the global community to take responsibility, the MWL urged immediate international intervention to halt violations that risk triggering further conflict and humanitarian suffering.
The airstrike, conducted by Israeli forces near the residence of Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa, has sparked regional outrage amid concerns of growing escalation and sectarian unrest.
